Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals, and electrical testing tools to identify root causes efficiently.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including mixers, encapsulation machines, packaging equipment, stick pack machines, and conveyors.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA, GMP, NSF, and company safety guidelines.
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
Safety & Quality Assurance:
Follow safety protocols and work closely with quality assurance teams to maintain production integrity.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
Inventory & Parts Management:
Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate orders for necessary replacements.
Collaboration:
Work with production supervisors, machine operators, and quality teams to optimize machinery efficiency and reduce waste. Experience 3+ years of experience in machinery maintenance within the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, food, or industrial industry. Knowledge of basic hand tools, mixers, encapsulation machines, packaging equipment, conveyors, and vacuum pumps. Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and industry-specific regulatory requirements. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Experience with automated production equipment. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to assist clients effectively during service visits.
