Job Description

Due to continued growth, Advanced Overhead Systems, A Flatiron Crane Operating Company is looking for an Electrical Field Technician to join our highly skilled team. Job Responsibilities:
Perform various types of welds in various positions utilizing SMAW (stick) welding. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems on overhead cranes and related equipment. Work as a team with other technicians and project engineers to perform major installations, upgrades, and modifications. Perform maintenance and repairs on overhead crane and related equipment at customer facilities. Identify needed parts, repair procedures, communicate with the customer, interface with our engineering department, and perform the repair. You will be trained to perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines. Remain compliant with
AWS D1.1
requirements.
Qualifications:
Qualified welder in accordance with
AWS D1.1
Good with tablets; Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of industrial plant equipment and operating functions. Must be willing to work at heights. Valid driver's license with good driving record. Ability to work at customer facilities including the extreme elements indoor and outdoor. Work in accordance with OSHA, CMAA, ANSI, ASME, AWS, and other applicable regulations.
