We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Installation Helper to assist our installation team with elevator projects. This position requires flexibility, willingness to travel, and hands-on experience with tools and measurements.
Position Summary:
The Installation Helper will provide direct support to the elevator installation team by assisting with on-site installations, loading and unloading materials, handling tools and equipment as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the installation team with elevator assembly, installation, and repairs. Load, unload, organize, and transport materials, tools, and equipment. Measure and prepare materials accurately according to specifications. Maintain job sites clean, safe, and organized. Travel to different project sites throughout Florida as needed. Work closely with supervisors and team leaders to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Requirements:
Flexible schedule required (depending on the project). Willingness to travel throughout Florida. Must be a handy person. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments. Strong measurement and material preparation skills. Valid driver's license (preferred)
Qualifications:
Experience in construction, installation, fabrication, warehouse, or related hands-on work. (preferred). Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general mechanical work. (preferred). Strong measurement skills. Experience in industrial, mechanical, or construction environments is a plus. Elevator industry experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay $21 - $25 p/h (based on experience). Medical, dental and vision insurance. Paid time off. 401k (up to 4% Match). Growth opportunities within the company.
