Full-Time Reinicke Athens, Inc. (RAI) is looking for an experienced Millwright Rigging Superintendent to lead industrial installation and rigging projects across the Southeast. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who has strong experience with millwright work, crane and rigging operations, industrial process piping, and managing crews on industrial job sites. The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. This position is based out of Athens, GA and requires travel throughout the Southeast . Per diem is available for eligible employees. What You'll Do Lead and supervise millwright crews on industrial installation and rigging projects Plan and coordinate rigging activities including crane selection, lift planning, and equipment movement Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure work is completed correctly Coordinate daily work with the Project Manager, Foremen, subcontractors, and other trades Manage equipment setting, assembly/disassembly, rigging, and installation of industrial machinery Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within scope Maintain daily field reports and job progress documentation Plan and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules to keep work moving efficiently Identify potential field issues early and work with the Project Manager to resolve them Inspect work in progress to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications Oversee subcontractor work and ensure alignment with project requirements Lead safety efforts on the jobsite and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards Experience We're Looking For 7-10+ years of industrial construction or millwright experience 5+ years in a supervisory role leading crews on industrial or heavy mechanical projects Strong background in rigging, crane coordination, and equipment setting Experience moving and installing large or oversized industrial equipment Ability to read construction drawings, rigging plans, and project specifications Experience working on industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, or heavy mechanical installations Experience managing major industrial piping projects Current advanced rigging certification is a plus Skills That Make You Successful Strong leadership and crew management skills Deep knowledge of millwright practices and rigging operations Ability to coordinate work with multiple trades and subcontractors Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in the field Solid communication skills with crews, supervisors, and project managers Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project) Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary package Healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off (PTO) and company-paid holidays 401(k) with company match Annual bonus program Per diem for eligible employees Company vehicle provided Opportunity to build and lead your own crew Overtime opportunities (50-60 hours/week typical, 5-6 ten-hour shifts) Career growth opportunities with structured performance reviews About Reinicke Athens, Inc.
