Job Description

Maintenance Technician II We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance while troubleshooting and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a strong safety mindset and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician II will work independently and alongside plant personnel to: Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs Support equipment reliability and production efficiency Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and track maintenance history Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment Replace and rebuild components including gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts Perform scheduled PMs on production equipment Set molds in injection molding machines (with assistance) Operate powered lift equipment (forklifts, hoists, wave pickers) Support a positive and proactive safety culture Participate in shift meetings and maintenance training programs Required Qualifications Proven experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Experience working with PLC systems Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment Ability to work in extreme seasonal temperatures Basic computer skills Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Ability to complete a pulmonary function test and respirator fit test (clean-shaven requirement except mustache) Strong safety track record Preferred Qualifications Technical trade certificate or post-secondary education Experience using CMMS or maintenance software Proficiency with basic office software Compensation & Benefits 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid holidays and vacation Life and disability insurance Prescription coverage Flexible Spending Accounts Employee Assistance Program Ongoing safety training and professional development Annual tool reimbursement (up to $250) Annual safety boot reimbursement (up to $125) Submit your resume through Indeed, then text or call 470-330-2125 to learn more about the opportunity. #IND2
