Job Description

Core Responsibilities and Tasks Follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality. Perform welding operations using various techniques, including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-P, TIG, and Carbon Arc welding from blueprints. Interpret engineered drawings, applying weld symbols and dimensions. Follow red-line process and recommend modifications or improvements as needed. Troubleshoot and repair consumable failures (e.g., spring liners, tip nozzle insulators). Perform basic operations using hand and power tools, including chipping hammers and grinders. Enter work hours into the ERP system (currently SAP). Drive continuous improvement by conducting daily housekeeping/5S audits. Troubleshoot machine and equipment issues such as faulty consumables. Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and peers to produce quality products in a timely manner. Contribute to division results and performance. Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.

Required:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience. Proficiency in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-P, TIG, and Carbon Arc welding from blueprints. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Operation of various hand and power tools. Ability to obtain AWS certifications (training will be provided). Training and certification opportunities available.
