Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Industrial Electrical Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems within industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure that electrical installations meet safety standards, adhere to technical schematics, and operate efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including construction sites, renovations, and ongoing maintenance of industrial facilities. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in electrical systems, with a focus on low and high voltage applications. Responsibilities Install electrical wiring, conduit, panels, and equipment according to blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise installations. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects. Troubleshoot electrical issues using ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults in low and high voltage systems. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local safety regulations during all phases of installation and maintenance. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services to coordinate work efforts. Conduct routine inspections of installed systems for safety, functionality, and adherence to project specifications. Skills Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation systems. Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems. Commercial electrician experience is highly desirable for working on large-scale projects. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, low voltage wiring techniques, and schematics reading. Familiarity with NEC standards governing electrical installations in industrial settings. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical systems. Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety procedures related to their installation and maintenance. Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring for control panels or communication systems. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical faults. Ability to perform frame carpentry or handyman tasks as needed during installation projects. Up to $31.35 per hour
