Job Description

Come join our family! We are a residential new construction painting company, looking to grow our crew. We work Monday through Friday, an occasional Saturday depending upon job demands and deadlines. Our work hours are from 7am to 3pm in the summer and 8am to 4pm in the winter. We offer health benefits and a matching 401k plan up to 4% after the waiting period. We are looking to hire a couple of people. We are looking to hire for an experienced sprayer. Candidates will preferably have 2 years experience. Pay is D.O.E. We very rarely do repaints, we mainly paint for new construction. We also do epoxy flooring.
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
Our builders build in and around Twin Falls, Kimberly, etc. We also have builders and a crew in the
Treasure Valley Core Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, apply coats of paint, varnish or stain to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of homes, buildings and structures.
Essential Responsibilities and tasks:
Smooth and prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling nail holes, cracks and joints with putty, caulk, bondo, etc. Stain, seal, and varnish wood surfaces. Paint surfaces, using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers. Erect scaffolding or set up ladder to perform tasks above ground level. Mask windows, bathtubs, floors, etc. Maintain inventory of tools and assist with inventory control of materials and equipment. Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean. Work with builders to complete projects.
Safety:
Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties (e.g. lifting, climbing, etc.). Store, handle, and dispose of paint, stain, varnish, and other chemicals according to established procedures. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
Physical demands and working environment:
Field and construction site environment, travel from site to site, work around traffic and heavy construction equipment, work at heights on scaffolding and ladders, work in confined spaces, on slippery or uneven surfaces. Sufficient physical ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, kneeling and crawling: standing or walking for prolonged periods of time: operating motorized vehicles and equipment. Equipment used includes brushes, roller, spray machine, taping and masking equipment, sanders, hand tools ladder scaffolding, floor grinder, etc.
