Job Description

Personnel Plus, Inc. is hiring a skilled Millwright Mechanic to support mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair work in an industrial setting. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and able to step into a leadership role when needed while contributing to a solid team environment.
Pay:
$24.00 – $36.00 per hour
DOE Schedule:
Monday – Friday, day shift Some Saturdays as needed Flexible schedules: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts Overtime opportunities available Comprehensive benefits package upon rollover, including health coverage, company-paid life insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement
Responsibilities:
Perform installation, assembly, and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs as needed Set, level, and align equipment using precision measuring tools Follow blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings to complete work accurately Inspect equipment and make adjustments to ensure proper operation Maintain safe work practices in both shop and field environments Complete additional tasks as needed to support operations Leadership Responsibilities (Foreman Level) Oversee and direct crew activities on job sites to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently Coordinate daily job tasks, manpower, and workflow to keep projects on schedule Take responsibility for overall job performance, including quality, productivity, and timelines Ensure all work meets company standards as well as customer expectations Provide guidance, direction, and accountability for crew members in the field Train, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen overall crew capability Communicate effectively with leadership, customers, and team members regarding job progress and issues Address performance concerns and help resolve on-site challenges as they arise
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Completion of a millwright apprenticeship or comparable hands-on mechanical experience Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues Ability to interpret blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings Experience using alignment tools and precision measuring equipment Comfortable working in industrial settings, including shop and field environments Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting up to 80 lbs. Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and work in awkward positions as needed Be Drug-Free
