The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in building/facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. This role requires proficiency in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various systems, including HVAC/R. The Maintenance Mechanic will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on utilities equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management. Soldering and Threading as needed Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess equipment functionality. Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions. Maintain a clean work environment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar facilities maintenance role. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems and electrical systems. EPA Certification. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions quickly. A commitment to safety practices and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
