Job Description

Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist, Packaging Lines — Paket Corporation Do you thrive on keeping complex packaging equipment running at peak performance? Are you fluent in both mechanical repair and electrical systems? Join us to safeguard uptime and elevate our manufacturing processes. What you'll own Uptime first: Diagnose and resolve production equipment failures to keep lines operating.
Changeovers and setups:
Perform line setups, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble machinery.
Mechanical work:
Fabrication, assembly, welding, cutting, and related tasks.
Electrical work:
Replace motors, fuses, and cables; install conduit; pull wire; verify power distribution across 120/208/240/480V.
Preventive maintenance:
Execute routine PM to extend asset life and reduce breakdowns.
New installs:
Assist with installation and startup of new manufacturing equipment.
Process improvement:
Contribute to machine/process design and continuous improvement initiatives.
SOPs and layouts:
Refine and implement SOPs; improve line layouts and plant design.
Compliance and readiness:
Maintain PM logbooks, keep the tool crib stocked, and ensure
CFR 210/211
adherence for OTC manufacturing.
Facilities support:
Assist with boilers, air handling units, and heating/cooling equipment.
Documentation:
Record maintenance data; create setup sheets to lock in repeatable results.
Technical resources:
Read and interpret equipment manuals; generate purchase requisitions as needed.
On-call support:
Be available for assistance outside normal hours when required (e.g., fire alarm/security system issues); most work occurs during standard business hours.
Partner and advise:
Respond to requests and provide mechanical maintenance guidance.
Safety stewardship:
Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain proper records. Must-haves High school diploma or
GED. 5-7
years in a manufacturing setting; GMP familiarity; willing and able to work outside regular hours if needed (1st shift 6 AM-2 PM; 2nd shift 2 PM-10 PM). Demonstrated troubleshooting strength across mechanical, electrical, pumps, and packaging/process machinery. Adaptable, collaborative, and effective in a fast-paced, team-first culture. We're especially interested in candidates open to a swing schedule (10 AM-8 PM) or a full second shift (2 PM-10 PM). Equipment you'll touch Bottle/jar fillers: Packaging Dynamics, Elgin piston fillers, piston fillers, rotary bottle fillers.
Tube lines:
COESIA Kalix tube fillers; ultrasonic sealers.
H/F/F/S:
Bartelts (liquid and powder filling).
V/F/F/S:
Prodo Paks.
Pre-made pouches:
PSG Lee.
Pumps:
Axiflow, diaphragm, positive displacement. Cartoners; end-of-line systems: Videojet case labelers, case tapers, case erectors. Blending tanks. Skills that set you up for success Preventive maintenance planning and execution. Proficiency with 120/208/240/480V systems. Electrical troubleshooting and repair. Hands-on maintenance and repair skills. Equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting. Installation and wiring of production equipment. Repair and maintenance of packaging/process machinery. Equipment installation and commissioning. Tools & tech environment MIG welding and general fabrication tools. Packaging machinery and liquid fill systems (Filamatic). VFDs; Allen-Bradley PLCs. Conveyors and servo-driven systems.
