Job Description
Job Overview An Industrial Maintenance Technician combines the knowledge and skills of both an industrial mechanic and an industrial electrician. This allows them to independently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facets of industrial production, processing & automated machinery to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Education:
Candidates should have an Industrial Electricians certificate and an Industrial Mechanics certificate, or an Industrial Technicians certificate.Experience:
Candidates should have at a minimum of 3 years' experience and be a self-starter.Key competencies:
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment with minimal downtime.
- Apply safety procedures consistently while performing maintenance tasks.
- Effectively interprets electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Use analytical skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
