Job Overview An Industrial Maintenance Technician combines the knowledge and skills of both an industrial mechanic and an industrial electrician. This allows them to independently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facets of industrial production, processing & automated machinery to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Education:
Candidates should have an Industrial Electricians certificate and an Industrial Mechanics certificate, or an Industrial Technicians certificate.
Experience:
Candidates should have at a minimum of 3 years' experience and be a self-starter.

- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment with minimal downtime.
- Apply safety procedures consistently while performing maintenance tasks.
- Effectively interprets electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Use analytical skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Abilities:
The abilities required are numerous for this position and will include but not limited to. Automated machine troubleshooting (Electrical & Mechanical) Mechanical systems rebuilding Perform preventative and predictive maintenance throughout the plant Troubleshoot pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Repair motors, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, etc. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics Troubleshoot relay logic & PLC-controlled automation (e.g., Omron, Allen-Bradley, etc.) Complete work orders in CMMS Ensure OSHA and safety compliance is maintained at all times Use of various power tools Welding and lite fabrication is a plus
