General Manager - Frontage Road This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, fabricating, and installing metal equipment and systems. Work includes both in-shop and on-site support, with a focus on keeping equipment running efficiently and completing high-quality installations. Key Responsibilities Perform welding, fabrication, installation, and maintenance on a variety of metal equipment and structures Evaluate equipment and identify necessary repairs or improvements Estimate scope, time, and materials needed for assigned work Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and supplies Oversee and coordinate work completed by outside contractors when needed Perform quality checks and document results as required Complete all necessary safety and quality documentation Work closely with the Millwright & Maintenance Foreman and Operations Manager to plan labor and equipment needs Communicate any issues that could impact timelines, quality, or customer satisfaction Maintain clean and organized work areas, equipment, and job sites Follow all company and customer safety standards, including proper use of PPE Promote a team-oriented environment through professionalism and accountability Support team operations by assisting with additional tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in maintenance, fabrication, or a related field Welding experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical documents Experience operating equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic lifts Ability to lift up to 75 lbs without assistance Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism
