Job Overview The Millstone Companies, an award-winning construction vertical access company is looking to expand its team, and provide long lasting career opportunities for qualified individuals. Located in Upper Marlboro, MD, Millstone has been supplying the Mid-Atlantic region with turn-key scaffolding & hoisting services for over 40 years. Job Description & Responsibilities
- Erect & Dismantle Scaffolding per project guidelines
- Erect & Dismantle Construction Hoists per project guidelines
- Assist with repairs, troubleshooting, & maintenance of equipment in the field & shop
- Assist in loading and unloading scaffold & hoist equipment in our yard
- Practice safe work habits at our facilities, and while on the job
- Must be committed to providing excellent customer service and demonstrate efficient teamwork
- Maintain a clean workspace both in the shop and field Job Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working at various heights
- Must be able to lift equipment/material weighing up to 100lbs
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from our facility
- Ability to speak, read, & write English
OSHA 10/30, CPR
Certification, & Rigging Certification are preferred- Must have the flexibility to work overtime when needed, as well as travel out of state on a niche project basis Additional Information
- Millstone provides all personnel with parking at our facilities and will use company owned vehicles to commute to and from the jobsite.
- Seasonal overtime available
- Foreman's positions are available for proven, qualified individuals who have 3 or more years of experience working directly with scaffolding and/or construction hoisting.
