3rd shift Machine Maintenance Job Impulse Burton, MI Job Details Full-time $28 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Industrial equipment troubleshooting Metal fabrication High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations on our 3rd shift team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a timely manner. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Support machine installations, modifications, and equipment upgrades. Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs accurately. Maintain compliance with safety procedures and company policies. Assist in maintaining facility systems including lighting, HVAC, compressors, and other support equipment. Collaborate with production personnel to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Qualifications 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLC troubleshooting is preferred. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, drives, and automated equipment. Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
Pay:
