Job Description

Position summary: Currently, ADAC is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic A to support its manufacturing operations in Muskegon, Michigan in the creation, delivery, and implementation of molding manufacturing processes and maintenance. As part of the mold maintenance team, this position will report to the Molding Maintenance Team Lead.

Essential Responsibilities:
Work in a safe manner, following LOTO procedures, mobile equipment guidelines and best practices per ADAC safety trainings and standards. Work towards metrics outlined on the GEMBA boards: uptime, labor hours (OT and standard) and PM on-time completion. Proactively identify safety hazards and follow necessary steps to make the proper repairs. Complete assigned PMs on machines, robots, auxiliary equipment, etc.. Complete other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader Lead, coach and mentor team members. Interface with machine support groups to troubleshoot and improve machine uptime. Interface with suppliers to identify necessary parts and equipment for manufacturing operations. Troubleshoot machinery using prints, tools and mechanical knowledge. Remove, relocate or install machinery as directed. Identify componentry, spare parts as necessary, and pursue quoting through vendors and the Maintenance Planner. Maintain day-to-day production and uptime. Communicate issues at shift huddles and via email.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or
GED 5-10
years of industrial maintenance Industrial Maintenance Certification Electrical and hydraulic experience Injection Molding Experience
