Purpose
The Millwright is responsible for assembly and installation of new or existing equipment. Follows all plant safety and production quality protocols. Essential Responsibilities Verifies conformance of parts to bill of material and drawings
Assemble machines from bill of material and drawings
Assembling pneumatic and hydraulic circuits from drawings
Verify machine motion and precision
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
Skilled use of forklifts and scissor lifts required
Understanding of proper use of rigging equipment (shackles, straps, chains, hoists, etc.)
Ability to interact professionally with other departments Technical/Functional Skills Ability to read mechanical drawings
Use of hand tools
Use of manual machining tools such as mill, lathe, bandsaw, grinder, etc.
Capable of reading measuring devices and drawings Basic Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years' experience
Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hands for gripping
