Pay:
$ -$ per hour, based on experience RSBS Management, Inc. is looking for a skilled Playground Equipment Installer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with carpentry experience, mechanical ability, and confidence reading blueprints or installation drawings. The right person is hands-on, detail-oriented, creative, and able to think through problems in the field. Playground installation is not just "putting pieces together." It requires layout, measuring, leveling, anchoring, assembly, safety awareness, and the ability to make good decisions when site conditions are not perfect. Responsibilities Install commercial playground equipment, park equipment, borders, surfacing, and related site features Read and follow blueprints, site plans, assembly instructions, and manufacturer specifications Measure, layout, level, and align equipment accurately Perform basic carpentry, framing, drilling, anchoring, and hardware assembly Work with concrete footings, posts, borders, edging, and site prep Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely Troubleshoot installation challenges in the field Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Work as part of a crew while also being able to complete tasks independently Communicate with the foreman/project manager about materials, progress, issues, and jobsite needs We are looking for someone who: Has carpentry, construction, landscaping, or equipment assembly experience Can read a blueprint, layout plan, or installation manual Is mechanically inclined and comfortable assembling complex equipment Thinks creatively and can solve problems in the field Takes pride in clean, accurate, professional work Understands the importance of safety, especially around playground equipment Can work outdoors in changing weather conditions Is dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Requirements Previous carpentry, construction, playground installation, landscape construction, or similar experience preferred Ability to read tape measures, levels, layout drawings, and basic plans Ability to lift 50-75 lbs as needed Valid driver's license preferred Ability to work outdoors and stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry throughout the day Must be able to follow safety procedures and manufacturer installation instructions Preferred Experience Playground equipment installation Commercial carpentry Concrete work Landscape construction Fence, deck, or structure assembly Skid loader, mini excavator, forklift, or equipment operation OSHA or construction safety training Schedule Monday-Friday Occasional overtime depending on project schedule Seasonal field work with potential for year-round employment for the right person Why Work With Us Hands-on work with visible finished projects Opportunity to build parks, schools, and community spaces Steady work with a growing company Room to grow into lead installer or foreman role Pay based on experience and ability
