This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment, develop specialized skills, and contribute to high-quality production processes. Your expertise will help ensure that products meet rigorous standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Equipment Setup & Startup Perform daily startup procedures for the thermal spray booth and ValuArc spray systems. Power up and verify operation of booth systems including ventilation, lighting, and dust collection. Ensure proper fixtures and parts are positioned correctly for coating operations. Set Up multiple spray gun control units for operation. Start and monitor automated robotic spray equipment and control systems. System Monitoring & Adjustment Verify system parameters including amperage, voltage, and air pressure based on job specifications. Adjust equipment settings as required to meet production requirements. Monitor spray performance through observation windows and equipment displays. Ensure consistent spray pattern and proper coating application. Inspection & Quality Control Perform daily inspection of spindles, fixtures, and spray components. Remove excessive material buildup that could affect equipment operation. Run test parts at the beginning of each shift to verify spray performance. Identify irregular spray patterns or abnormal equipment sounds and report issues. Core Production Activity Load and unload parts from conveyor system and spindle. Measure part size and pack finished product into containers. Equipment Care & Housekeeping Clean masking fixtures and remove coating buildup. Maintain a clean and organized work area within the spray booth. Follow maintenance procedures and report equipment concerns to supervisors. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures when operating automated spray and robotic systems. Verify emergency stop systems are disengaged prior to operation. Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately. Power up and verify operation of booth systems including ventilation, lighting, and dust collection. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing or production environment experience. Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and work instructions . Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment. Ability to read gauges, digital displays, and equipment settings. Ability to lift parts and work around manufacturing equipment. Preferred Experience with thermal spray or coating systems . Experience with welding equipment Experience with robotic manufacturing equipment . Experience operating industrial control panels or automated machinery .
