  • 4:30pm (Monday
  • Thursday, Overtime on Friday as Needed) The Entry Level Bricker supports refractory installation and repair work in industrial facilities under the supervision of experienced brickers and foremen.
This role in Arnold, MO focuses on learning proper refractory techniques, assisting with material handling, and maintaining safe, organized job sites. Ideal for individuals interested in developing a skilled trade within industrial construction and maintenance environments.
Bricker Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced brickers with installing and repairing refractory brick and materials in furnaces, kilns, boilers, and other high-temperature equipment
  • Remove old or damaged refractory materials during tear-outs and shutdowns
  • Transport, load, and stage refractory brick, mortar, and tools at job sites
  • Mix refractory mortar, cement, and castables according to instructions
  • Measure, cut, and fit brick or refractory materials under supervision
  • Learn to read basic drawings, layouts, and job instructions
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safe operations
  • Follow all job-site safety rules, company procedures, and OSHA regulations
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Support team members with general labor tasks as required during projects and shutdowns Requirements for
Bricker:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Willingness to learn skilled trade techniques and follow instructions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel and work varied schedules, including overtime, weekends, and shutdowns
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in confined spaces
  • Comfortable working in hot, dusty, noisy, and industrial environments
  • Ability to wear respirators and other PPE as required
