EDI services customers across the continental United States. Crew members must be willing to travel long distances frequently. The starting wage is $20/hr . With overtime there is potential to earn UP TO $75,000 PER YEAR. Schedule The schedule for this position varies depending on the season, time zone, and workload. Local shop/factory work is required at times when no site work is scheduled. Schedule frequently consists of 10 hour days, 6 days a week. Essential duties and responsibilities Reports to the SiteWorks Crew Manager Follow instructions and assist in tasks completed in Field Assists in the care and maintenance of tools and equipment. Communicates with Site Foreman issues with pre-fabrication or onsite installation. Helps promote positive attitudes and keeping others motivated in crew. Reporting mistakes or concerns to Site Foreman. Listens carefully to instruction given by Site Foreman. If you are unsure, be pro-active and ask questions. Be pro-active during tool box meetings. Take the initiative to voice concerns and learn all aspects of the project/job. Respect your Superiors, colleagues/co-workers, company equipment and rental equipment. Take pride in your work. The better the project runs, everyone benefits. Profit share. Understands company rules and Safety regulations. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) it is your responsibility to bring it to all job sites, not your supervisors. Has a good understanding of various tasks and completes them with the highest of craftsmanship.
Tasks include:
HDPE butt fusion, socket fusion, electro fusion, assembly of metal piping, assembly of blowers, assembly of blower building and diffuser installation. Ability to use Microsoft 365 Suite, communicating through Teams & Outlook in a professional and timely manner. Key Competencies Work as a real team player and do your part Familiarize yourself with EDI safety and work policies and procedures. Be safe. Do it right the first time and ask questions as needed. Ensure you put out your best effort. Certain vaccinations must be obtained at the time of hire for work place safety.Required Certified in:
OSHA 10, Confined Space, and H2S (trainings will be covered by EDI upon hire) Skills and experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Valid Driver's License Strong sense for safety Excellent attendance Excellent hand/eye coordination Strong attention to detail Familiar with Microsoft 365 Suite Willingness to work in wastewater Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to perform routine tasks. Frequent computer, phone and in person usage and communications. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to stand/walk on concrete on a manufacturing floor and warehouse.
