Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical systems in various industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. The Millwright will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment. Duties Install, align, and maintain machinery and equipment according to specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Perform repairs on hydraulic systems, ensuring proper functionality. Utilize stick welding techniques for equipment repairs and modifications. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems as required. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project status and needs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial settings. Proficiency in working with logic controllers for automation tasks is preferred. Strong understanding of hydraulics and their applications in machinery. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience with stick welding is a plus. Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters is beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting mechanical issues. Out of town work with weekly paid per diem on occasions!
