We have an exciting opening for a 3 rd Shift Maintenance Tech in Forest City, NC. The hours for this position are 10pm - 6am . This position is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing equipment and facilities operate efficiently and safely. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. Your main responsibilities We are looking for a talent with High school diploma or GED; a technical certificate or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred. 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to bend and run electrical conduit accurately and efficiently. Experience working safely around electrical cabinets with voltages up to 480 volts. Proficient with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software. Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, and industrial robotics is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and noisy environments. Ability to lift and carry up to [25 lbs.] and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
