Fabrication/Millwright Technician

Job Overview We are urgently seeking a skilled Fabrication/Millwright Technician FOR the Lewiston, NC area for a contract to permanent position. This is an immediate need—with the potential for full-time hire.

What You'll Do:

Assists in the installation of new equipment. Assists the Maintenance Supervisor and/or other personnel on special fabrication and construction projects. Follows preventative maintenance schedule. Troubleshoots and repairs process machinery and hydraulic equipment. Changes electrical breakers and electrical starters; operates voltage, amp, and ohm meters. Maintains clean, neat and orderly work area at all times. Responsible for using assigned safety equipment including a bump cap, safety glasses or goggles, welding protection, and a safety harness; responsible for being familiar with and observing all Company safety rules and regulations. Attends regularly scheduled safety meetings and may be asked to serve on Safety Committee. All other duties as assigned.

Minimum 4-5 years' experience with rendering or other similar equipment. Advanced welding, piping and fabrication skills a must.
