Day and Night Shift Opportunities Air-Conditioned Work Environment What You Will Do:
. Independently perform complete Davenport screw machine rebuilds, including disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, alignment, and testing. . Restore machines to factory specifications and implement approved upgrades or enhancements as authorized by management. . Diagnose mechanical wear, performance issues, and failure points, applying corrective actions based on expert judgment and experience. . Serve as a subject matter expert for Davenport screw machine rebuild standards and best practices. . Assist in the development and execution of special projects related to screw machines, rebuild processes, or equipment reliability. . Partner with Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Operations teams on rebuild initiatives and technical problem-solving. . Establish and prioritize work activities to ensure rebuilds are completed efficiently and in alignment with operational needs. . Maintain accurate, detailed records related to rebuild activities, parts usage, and labor. . Detect, document, and report defective materials, repair parts, or equipment issues to the Facilities Manager. . Observe all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at all times. . Perform additional duties and support activities as required to meet departmental and business needs. . Reports to the Maintenance Team Leader to receive general and task-specific guidance as needed. #LI-AP1
Requirements:
What We Are Looking For:
. 10+ years of progressive, hands-on experience rebuilding machines or equivalent multi-spindle screw machines. . Demonstrated ability to independently complete full machine rebuilds. . Advanced mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret mechanical drawings. . Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Physical Requirements . Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work with mechanical components for extended periods. . Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.
