JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Disassembly and reassembly of bearing housings, and internal roll components using air tools, hand tools and bearing pullers. Inspection of roll components and parts. Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and performance. Help meet or exceed quality goals through a quality maintenance program. Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
2 years of relevant manufacturing, mechanical, or millwright experience, or 2 years technical training preferred.
Languages:
English Must be an excellent communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Requires knowledge of computers with skills in Excel and Word Basic hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, cutting with a torch, basic layout, blueprint reading, precision measurement, bearings, chains, sprockets, and troubleshooting techniques Basic computer /data entry skills Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping).
