Maintenance Mechanic II (Equipment Maintenance)

1st Shift 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) Position Overview We're seeking two Maintenance Mechanics to support production equipment in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role focuses on equipment maintenance only —not commercial or residential building maintenance. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment to maximize uptime and reliability. Qualifications 5+ years of maintenance experience in a medical device or other highly regulated manufacturing environment Experience maintaining production equipment (not building maintenance) Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Working knowledge of PLCs (troubleshooting only; programming not required) Familiarity with machine shop tools, fabrication, HVAC, and general facility equipment Experience with packaging equipment, process machinery, or automated manufacturing equipment preferred Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, packaging, and process equipment Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs Utilize hand and power tools to complete repairs Support fabrication and machine modifications as needed Maintain maintenance records and work safely in a regulated manufacturing environment Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
