Job Description

Millwright/Industrial Machinery Mechanic (Full-Time)
Schedule:
Full-Time, 12-hour shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays as required) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Millwright/Industrial Machinery Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems to support safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with heavy equipment alignment and installation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, assemble, and disassemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Perform precision alignment of motors, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors
  • Diagnose and repair conveyor systems, including belts, pulleys, rollers, and drives
  • Conduct bearing replacements, shaft alignments, and coupling installations
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on rotating equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely corrective repairs
  • Use precision measurement tools (dial indicators, micrometers, laser alignment tools, etc.)
  • Weld and fabricate components as needed for repairs and modifications
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete work orders
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policies
  • Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade certification preferred
  • Previous experience as a Millwright in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, conveyors, motors, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
  • Experience with precision alignment and installation of industrial equipment
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts in an industrial setting
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy components as required
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills
  • Experience with laser alignment tools
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, noise, dust, etc.) What We Offer
