Job Description

The Opportunity Precision Process is hiring an Industrial Machinery Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Machinery Technician, you will be involved in the mechanical fabrication, assembly, modification, and installation of custom electroplating equipment and process systems. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 7am - 3:30pm, reporting to the Assembly Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble electroplating equipment and related mechanical components Use hand routers, table saws, plastic welding guns, plumbing tools, hand tools, and drill presses Verify fit, alignment, and quality of fabricated and assembled components Assist with equipment modifications, upgrades, and field installations as required Ensure work environment is clean and safe Ensure quality of parts and assembly process Accurately complete documentation Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum of a high school degree or equivalent Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions Ability to interpret blueprints (PID), assembly drawings, and schematics for plumbing and pneumatic systems Experience with mechanical assembly, plastic fabrication, plumbing, or process equipment preferred Understanding of Geometric Dimensions/Tolerances Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of time Basic math and computer skills Manual dexterity needed to perform fabrication and assembly functions Working Conditions Environment may be in high temperature depending on ambient outside temperature Steel/composite toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection require Could be exposed to background noise, odors, dust, heat, and cold Who We Are Precision Process is a manufacturer of a variety of electroplating/chemical processing equipment.
