Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production and facility equipment. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support production operations. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to maintain a safe and productive manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, communicating repair status to relevant teams to minimize downtime. Execute preventive maintenance schedules, performing lubrication and inspections to enhance equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of production and facility equipment. Maintain facility systems, including HVAC, steam lines, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance. Complete work orders and documentation accurately, tracking materials used and communicating needs to leadership. Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards, maintaining clean and organized work areas. Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to support business needs through training and assistance. Proactively identify and report any unusual conditions, safety hazards, or potential facility damage. Qualifications Required Skills Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic control systems within a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in safely troubleshooting and repairing production and facility equipment, such as conveyors, pumps, and packaging machinery. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems, including low- and high-voltage components. Experience performing preventive maintenance procedures and lubrication tasks. Preferred Skills Knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, steam lines, and plant utilities. Competency in safely disassembling, inspecting, adjusting, and reassembling machinery. Basic welding, fabrication, and hand-tool skills relevant to maintenance tasks. Ability to interpret work orders, safety instructions, and standard operating procedures. Experience with PLC Troubleshooting, CNC Machine Repair, and Boiler Troubleshooting.
