• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or technical certifications preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating air separation units or similar industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of air separation processes and equipment.
• Ability to interpret process flow diagrams, control room displays, and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment. Skills Needed
• Experience with compressor and cryogenic systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and use diagnostic tools. Tasks
• Operate and monitor air separation units (ASUs) for the production of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.
• Maintain the efficient operation of equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Perform routine inspections, identify, and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues and carry out corrective actions.
• Conduct start-ups and shutdowns of equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Record operational data and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
