Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Millwright to join our manufacturing team. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality. The ideal candidate will take pride in producing high-quality work in a timely manner while maintaining and repairing plant equipment to minimize downtime and support production goals. The position is Monday through Friday (start time will be either 6am or 7am) and overtime when necessary. This position involves physical activity, including repetitive use of hands and arms, lifting, carrying, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling. Candidates must be able to safely lift 50+ lbs. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety rules and regulations with a Safety First mindset Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment malfunctions Replace defective machine parts and adjust clearances and alignment Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and precision instruments Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment Coordinate maintenance activities with production and quality teams Monitor and report maintenance performance to supervisor Execute maintenance and production action plans to meet plant goals Assemble and install machinery and equipment using hand and power tools Move machinery and equipment as needed Lubricate machines and ensure optimal operation Support smooth transition of projects from installation to operation Coach and assist manufacturing personnel when appropriate Perform general duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a Millwright is required Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain) Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of plant equipment Basic computer and documentation skills Good oral and written communication skills Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or relevant plant maintenance experience preferred Ability to meet physical demands and work in varying environments Must be able to wear required PPE for extended periods Ability to safely operate a forklift Proficiency in operating necessary maintenance equipment Ability to climb stairs, stand for extended periods, and lift 50+ lbs Work Environment This role is performed in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
