Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Barker Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized machinery that takes the bark of logs. Your expertise will help ensure efficient production processes, precise craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your mechanical skills and hands-on experience make a real impact. Responsibilities Operate Barker machinery. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Use CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines for detailed machining tasks requiring high accuracy. Handle heavy lifting safely. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating manufacturing or woodworking machinery. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable. Experience in warehouse settings involving heavy lifting and material handling. Strong understanding of garment construction or millwork processes is a plus.
