The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in various industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential. Duties Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems and implement effective solutions. Utilize welding techniques for repairs and fabrication. Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and project completion. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Skills Proficient in maintaining industrial machinery and understanding mechanical systems. Experience with stick welding techniques for various applications. Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues effectively. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with customers. Familiarity with industrial mechanics and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Ability to operate scissor lifts and forklifts safely as part of maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in using had tools and power tools. Qualifications Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Clean driving record. Driver's are DOT regulated. Trade School or related certifications preferred. Willing to travel to our customer's facilities after meeting at our shop in Belle Vernon. Travel is paid by the company. Transportation by AMCI company trucks.
