Job Title:
Field Millwright $20-$35/hr Job Description This field-based Millwright role focuses on supporting the installation of industrial dust collection and air filtration systems at various customer sites. You will travel extensively with an experienced field leader, assist with mechanical installation tasks, read and interpret blueprints, hang ductwork, and perform minor welding. This position is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who is eager to start in an entry-level role, learn on the job, and grow into a field leadership position over time. Responsibilities Travel with a field leader to various industrial job sites to assist with the installation of dust collection and air filtration systems. Read and interpret blueprints and installation drawings to support accurate system layout and assembly. Assist in hanging and installing ductwork and related mechanical components in industrial environments. Perform minor welding tasks under guidance to support fabrication and installation work. Support general mechanical installation activities, including positioning, fastening, and securing equipment and materials. Work as part of a field team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, climbing, and working at heights as required by the job. Maintain strong attendance and reliability, ensuring consistent availability for weekday travel and field work. Follow safety procedures and site rules at all times while working on industrial job sites. Assist with basic electrical and mechanical tasks as needed, under supervision. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn mechanical installation tasks quickly. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in the field. Basic welding knowledge and willingness to perform minor welding tasks. Comfort with reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings, or willingness to learn. Strong attendance record in previous jobs or schooling, demonstrating reliability and commitment. Willingness to start in an entry-level role and develop into more advanced responsibilities over time. Ability to perform physical labor in industrial environments, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights. Comfort working in dirty, physically demanding conditions on industrial job sites. Willingness and ability to travel 50%-75% of the time, primarily Monday through Friday. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a field helper, laborer, or in a mechanical or installation role is beneficial but not required. Exposure to ductwork installation, mechanical assembly, or fabrication is an advantage. Basic understanding of electrical work in an industrial setting is helpful. Demonstrated interest in mechanical trades, machining, or fabrication is a plus. Desire to build a long-term career in field installation and grow into a field leader role. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a fully field-based position with extensive travel to industrial job sites, primarily across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. The work takes place in active industrial environments and involves physical labor, exposure to dirt and dust, and working at heights. You will work with mechanical equipment, ductwork, air filtration and dust collection systems, and basic welding tools as part of installation projects. The role requires comfort in a rugged, hands-on setting where safety awareness and teamwork are essential. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Brownstown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $79040.00/yr. Paid holidays after 30 days of employment, paid vacation. Medical, Dental, Vision, available after 30 days (follows next 1st of the month after 30 days). 401K available after 3 months employment on the first day of next quarter.
