Ajax/CECO/Erie Press is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Millwright II to join our team. The individual will be responsible for ensuring proper assembly and craftsmanship. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, and the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics. Job Duties Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools, power tools and overhead cranes up to 40 tons. Dismantles machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools. Welding various brackets Operate forklift, scissor lift, boom lifts Repair and lubricate machines and equipment. Operate service grinder to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications. Cleaning and packaging Work in a team environment or independently on projects May perform installation and maintenance work as part of team of skilled trades workers. Up to 10%-15% travel annually, in 2-week periods Performs daily duties from various drawings under minimal supervision. Train and support onboarding of new hires. Leads build teams in all activities including but not limited to; Works with PM to develop a project schedule, coordinating the erection, testing and teardown of machines, checking all sub-assemblies and main assemblies delivered to assembly floor & completing sign off. What you need to be successful: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, industrial, foundry, production or related manufacturing environment. 3+ years of experience in any of the listed areas; mechanical assembly, hydraulics, welding, pipefitting. Must be certified in one or a combination of hydraulics, welding, electrical Experience working in an environment with heavy machineryValid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications:
