Overview Buckhorn Services is growing and is actively searching for a certified millwright to join our team. Responsibilities
Provide routine maintenance and repair work for industrial equipment
Install and assemble specialized equipment and machines for industrial applications such as (pumps/ motors/ compressors/ gearboxes/ steam turbines/ generators/ engines and other equipment.
Perform alignments, pipe strain, and level bases for pumps and motors. Additional skill below are not required but a plus.
Utilize precision millwright skills and knowledge to disassemble, inspect, diagnose, and repair typical petrochemical rotating equipment, including pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, etc. This may be completed in the field at customer sites or in the Gonzales facility if removed from customer site.
Activities may also include (but are not limited to) removal and installation of new grout formations.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience Required at
Entry:
High school diploma or equivalent required Two (2) or more years' experience in millwright in industrial setting required Technical school or relevant training preferred Long-term on-the-job training TWIC Card required OSHA Card preferred Valid Driver's License with acceptable Driving Record required Meet site-specific requirements (e.g., DISA Contractor's Consortium (DCC) program for drug & alcohol testing & background screening, worksite may also require clean shaven & fresh air) If interested, please send your resume to Lmock@buckhorncompanies.com
