Responsibilities:
Welding Perform TIG welding on pipe systems for commercial construction projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings Cut, fit, and assemble piping systems Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards Work closely with project supervisors and field crews Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements Lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds Pipefitter Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints. Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clams, tools or welding equipment. Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods. Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications. Millwright Install, align, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial machinery Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and mechanical drawings Assemble and disassemble equipment and machinery Perform equipment inspections and troubleshooting Use precision measurement tools to ensure proper alignment and operation Coordinate with supervisors and field crews to complete project work safely and efficiently Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in TIG Pipe Welding, Commercial/Industrial Pipefitting and/or Commercial Millwright Welders must pass a weld test Millwrights must have NCCER or NCCCO Certification All trades must have own basic hand tools
OSHA 10 OR 30 PREFERRED
Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor Perform all tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions Complete all assignments requiring physical activity for a full shift Work all hours assigned. Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.
