Sexton Furniture Manufacturing is looking for a frame builder in the production of building chairs using hand tools according to specifications. Please view the job summary below:
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The functions listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Positions pre-cut frame parts, for example sides, ends, and braces in fixture, and glues, staples, and screws them together to fabricate chair frame. Nails, screws, bolts, and glues pre-cut chair framing and attaches arms and back pieces. Must maintain regular and predictable attendance Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Hand stapler Nail gun Glue applicator
Square Protective Clothing & Equipment Used:
Safety Glasses Hearing Protection Education/Experience required: 3
- 6 months woodworking experience
Critical Skills:
Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself to make improvements or take corrective action Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Manage own time
Other Qualifications:
Arm-hand steadiness
- the ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position Manual Dexterity
- the ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble chair frames Finger Dexterity
- the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble chair frames
