Our in-depth knowledge of bulk handling systems provides expertise in design & operation and offers competitively priced well-constructed equipment which is tailor-made to meet our customers' specifications. Position Summary The Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures equipment reliability and supports continuous plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, dismantle, and move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans and blueprints. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment. Align and balance equipment using precision tools (laser alignment, dial indicators, etc.). Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or needed adjustments. Weld, cut, and fabricate components as needed. Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Millwright certification or apprenticeship preferred. 3+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with welding, rigging, and equipment alignment. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in heavy industrial environments (cement plants, mining, manufacturing, or similar). Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs. Experience with MSHA or OSHA safety standards.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. Work in outdoor and industrial environments, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, climb, bend, and work extended hours as needed .
