14401 Sovereign Rd., Suite 111, Fort Worth TX | On-Site AgBiTech is a global leader in sustainable agricultural solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our manufacturing team in Fort Worth, TX. Primary duties of the Electro-Mechanical Technician include providing safe and timely mechanical and electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity and working knowledge with hydraulics, pneumatics and HVAC systems, and process solid troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities of the role: Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on specialized and automated production/manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot and repair specialized production equipment under the direction of the Asst Manager of Maintenance & Safety Operations. Diagnose and repair electrical systems including PLC-controlled equipment, motor controls, sensors, and related components Operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair RTU and split-unit HVAC systems and associated subsystems as required for facility and production support Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and perform root cause analysis in a timely manner Upgrade production lines with new or improved equipment and technology Rebuild, refurbish, and modernize aging or obsolete machinery, processes, or systems Install, repair, overhaul, modify, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used Comply with all safety procedures while maintaining good housekeeping and safe work areas Work independently under limited supervision and manage time effectively
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety requirements Commitment to safe work practices and personal responsibility for preventing injury or illness from workplace hazards Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Strong ability to retain knowledge of procedures and understand complex instructions Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to problem solving Possess a strong working knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, PLCs, motor controls, and mechanical assemblies Familiarity with general production-related equipment such as compressors, boilers, HVAC systems, motors, gearboxes, plumbing, pneumatics, pumps, conveyors, and sensing equipment Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve solutions Capable of completing tasks as instructed without immediate supervision and following up with supervisor as required High attention to detail — works accurately, carefully, and efficiently Organized, accountable, and self-motivated with a service-oriented mindset Desire to improve systems, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency PLC and industrial electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency required 5+ years of related electro-mechanical experience
HVAC:
2 years+ (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Must be able to lift 30lbs
