Job Description

Role Summary:
The Ginner role is primarily responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing gin equipment. What to Expect in the
Role:
Responsible for checking moisture content and trash levels of seed cotton prior to ginning. Assists in repairing equipment such as conveyor systems, trailers, and storage bins. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. Analyze and resolve work problems, and/or assist workers in solving work problems. Performs same activities as supervised workers. Responsible for routine maintenance and repairs to ensure that gin runs smoothly. Employee must be safety oriented and always adhere to safety requirements.
