Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Installer to join a growing team supporting customers throughout the Greater Houston area. This role involves the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, hoists, and workstation crane systems. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced crane installers, millwrights, industrial mechanics, steel erectors, or mechanically inclined tradespeople looking to work on a variety of industrial projects with minimal overnight travel. Responsibilities Install overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, hoists, and workstation crane systems Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repair work on existing crane equipment Read blueprints, layout drawings, and installation plans Perform structural and mechanical assembly work Complete stick welding on carbon steel components Work with gearboxes, bearings, motors, shafts, and other mechanical systems Maintain a safe work environment while working at heights and around industrial equipment Qualifications Experience as a crane installer, millwright, industrial mechanic, steel erector, ironworker, or related trade Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints and perform layout work Stick welding experience required Experience with rigging, structural steel, or equipment installation preferred Crane industry experience is a plus but not required Electrical troubleshooting or commissioning experience is helpful but not required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Minimal travel with most work located in the Greater Houston area Rare overnight stays Consistent work in industrial environments Opportunity to develop specialized crane installation and service expertise Please submit a resume for consideration.
