West Jordan, UT Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Journeyman to support the fabrication, assembly, and installation of high-quality modular residential, multifamily, hospitality, and commercial structures. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform skilled trade work in the construction and assembly of modular building components. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders. Install, repair, and maintain structural and finishing elements in accordance with project requirements and applicable building codes. Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Inspect completed work to verify quality standards and compliance with specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools, and trade-specific equipment safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with on-site installation and final assembly of modular units when required. Identify and communicate any safety concerns, defects, or opportunities for process improvement. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Qualifications Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent journeyman certification in a relevant trade. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or modular building environments. Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and applicable building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical capability to lift construction materials, stand for extended periods, bend, climb, and perform repetitive tasks as required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in modular or off-site construction. Experience across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or interior finishing.
OSHA 10/30
certification or other relevant safety training. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
