Install Technician Job Description This entry-level Install Technician role supports a major semiconductor project site, where you will help install and start up tools used in advanced manufacturing. Working under the guidance of a team lead, you will assist with equipment installation, learn to troubleshoot issues during the install process, and build a strong foundation in electrical and industrial environments. Responsibilities Assist with the installation and startup of semiconductor tools and related equipment under the direction of a team lead. Support electrical installation tasks, including work involving conduit and common electrical components. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation activities. Follow detailed instructions and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient tool installation. Help identify and troubleshoot basic issues that arise during the installation process. Work safely in an industrial and cleanroom environment, adhering to all site safety and PPE requirements. Lift, move, and position materials and equipment as needed, up to 50 lbs. Remain on your feet for extended periods, supporting installation work throughout the shift. Collaborate with team members and the team lead to meet project timelines and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment. Essential Skills Basic understanding of common electrical components. Experience working in an industrial setting. Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools. Minimum 1 year of technical-related experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly. Energetic, reliable, and able to follow direction from a team lead. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and be on your feet for up to 10 hours a day. High School diploma or

GED. OSHA 10

certification (required; may be obtained online if not already held). Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience with installation work in an industrial or construction environment. Familiarity with conduit work and basic electrical installation practices. Comfort working in a cleanroom environment while wearing full cleanroom attire. Willingness to travel for future project assignments across the country, if needed. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based at a semiconductor manufacturing site in Manassas, VA. You will work in both standard industrial areas and cleanroom environments, with approximately 20% of your time spent in the cleanroom wearing a full bunny suit. Outside the cleanroom, you will use standard personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, safety gloves, boots with ankle support, smock, and hair net, as required by site safety protocols. The standard schedule is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch, and the work involves standing for long periods and handling materials and tools in an active industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas Park, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
