Job Description

Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will support production/quality of product produced by ensuring the efficient operating of packaging and conveyer equipment through daily maintenance and preventative maintenance.
Hours:
1st shift is from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm OT is about 10 hours a week consistently, and is typically worked after the shift ends
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Complete preventive maintenance requirement(s) on motors, gearboxes, conveying systems, packaging, and various other production equipment. Troubleshoot various mechanical devices, visually and listening to determine the source of problem. Fabricate materials using shop tools (i.e.: welder, brake, plasma, lathe, and other various tools). Follow all safety requirements inside and outside of the plant. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Perform other related duties as requested or assigned. Education and/or
Experience:
1-2 years Industrial Maintenance Experience Electrical experience a plus Proven strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to read / comprehend diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturing instructions for equipment and building. Ability to operate boom lift, forklifts, skid-steer, hoists, come-along tools, and an assortment of powered hand tools. Able to determine system capacity and sizing of parts using various tools (i.e.: caliber, micrometer, tachometer, and other measuring instruments).
