Job Description
Job Description Preferred Global Equipment (PGE) fabricates, assembles, and repairs engineered sanitary and industrial processing equipment. We are in search a maintenance technician who has experience on rotating equipment (gearboxes, pumps, and motors). Candidate must be willing to operated in a shop environment. Prior mechanical experience is required. Day to day tasks include Key Responsibilities Disassemble and inspect failed industrial pumps and rotating equipment Operate power and hand tools safely and effectively Utilize forklifts for material handling and equipment movement Cut metal bar and tubing using horizontal band saws Perform bearing removal and installation Install mechanical seals Drill and tap holes for mechanical assemblies Expected to travel to nearby sites to perform field service work Attend manufacturer trainings that could be located throughout the U.S. Operate manual lathe and milling machines (preferred) Perform MIG/TIG welding (preferred) Assist with fabrication and process piping tasks (preferred) Qualifications Prior mechanical experience required Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience with rotating equipment (gearboxes, pumps, motors) Ability to work independently in a shop environment Welding and machining experience is a plus but not mandatory Benefits 401(k) with company matching Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Tuition reimbursement Flexible spending account (FSA) Retirement plan Work Schedule Standard 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday If you're a motivated technician with a passion for mechanical systems and a desire to grow within a supportive team, we encourage you to apply.
