Job Title:
Test Technician (Levels I-III)

Non-Exempt Reports To:
Test Lab Supervisor Hourly Pay Range DOE (Depending on Experience): $25 to $35 per hour To be considered, candidates must have prior hands-on experience in test lab operations, electrical and mechanical testing, or related technical fields.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Test Technician to join our team, with responsibilities ranging from routine production testing to developing and documenting procedures for prototype and experimental products.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct engineering and production tests to meet quality standards Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components Recognize failures and setup issues; determine corrective actions Operate and program automated test stations and custom test fixtures Prepare test specifications and written procedures for acceptance testing Record detailed information in job data books or logs Assemble final test data packages to meet customer specifications Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory, and documentation Comply with all safety and security protocols
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in test lab operations, production testing, or related technical environments Proven ability to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical assemblies Experience with automated test equipment, data acquisition systems, and programmable test stations Skilled in interpreting schematics, block diagrams, and engineering drawings Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail and documentation accuracy Working knowledge of test instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies Familiarity with prototype testing and supporting new product development Proficient in recording and maintaining test data, reports, and logs in compliance with quality standards Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical environment Associate degree or technical training in electronics, electromechanical systems, or a related field
Additional Preferred Qualification:
Active security clearance (DoD preferred) or ability to obtain one is a plus
