Job Title:
RF Test Specialist Job Description As an RF Test Specialist, you will interpret electrical design schematics and support troubleshooting efforts with minimal supervision. You will interface frequently with Test Technicians, Assemblers, and work across various functional areas such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Leads, and Project Management. Your role will involve working collaboratively and iteratively with departments at other locations when required, refining requirements to ensure testing supports the deliverable intent. You will provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, leveraging your understanding of RF/electrical/electronic systems, technical standards, principles, and techniques. Familiarity with computerized data acquisition and automated test control systems is essential. Responsibilities Interpret electrical design schematics for troubleshooting. Interface with Test Technicians, Assemblers, and various functional areas. Collaborate across departments to refine testing requirements. Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate complexity. Troubleshoot RF/electrical/electronic systems using technical standards and theories. Essential Skills Experience with Automated Test Scripts, Python, Test Stand and/or LabView SW. Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). Functional understanding of Electronic Test Equipment (VOM, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.). Ability to read and interpret schematics. IPC-Certified Soldering. Experience with Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with RF Testing. Knowledge of advanced PCBA rework techniques. Experience with any Manufacturing Execution System (MES), preferably Epicor. IPC Certification (team will provide certification upon starting). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
