Job Description:
InfoLink USA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RF Technician to join our team for DAS installation and testing projects in the Southeast United States area
  • upcoming project locations include Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
As an RF Technician, you will be responsible for analyzing RF designs, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing distributed antenna systems (DAS), wireless internet systems, and related infrastructure for various customer sites in both indoor and outdoor environments. All work will be performed under the supervision of our System Design Engineer. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication systems for our clients, while working in a diverse team of InfoLink staff. Technician must have the ability to work independently as a representative of InfoLink at Customer sites or onsite under the supervision of our Installation Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an RF Cable Technician or related field
  • Preferred experience with the following equipment manufacturers: Andrew (formerly known as Commscope), SOLiD, ADRF, etc.
  • Familiarity with operating Android devices and professional software applications
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications for report creation/completion
  • Readiness to learn how to operate professional testing and validation tools to be used on project sites
  • Familiarity and understanding of network infrastructure and cabling standards with the ability to test and troubleshoot systems independently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and travel regionally; scheduling based on project to project basis
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with coaxial cable installation, DAS/wireless hardware, and fiber optic installation and repair
  • Understanding of basic wireless system performance metrics (RSSI, RSRP, SINR, RSRQ)
  • Knowledge of various coaxial and networking cable testing equipment
  • OSHA10 or above certification
